1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the use of kbl-logistics.com and the general framework under which Hong Kong Kaibailong International Trade Co., Ltd. ("Kaibailong", "we", "us") provides services. Specific shipments and consulting engagements are governed by the FIATA Standard Trading Conditions (or local equivalent) and any individual booking confirmation, quotation, or master service agreement signed with the client.

2. Use of the website

The content of this website is provided for general information about Kaibailong's services. It does not constitute a binding offer. Quotations are issued individually and are valid only for the period and on the conditions stated in the quotation itself.

3. Services

We provide the following categories of services through ourselves or through vetted partners:

• Freight forwarding (sea, air, rail, road, multimodal).
• Customs documentation and broker coordination.
• Warehousing and distribution via partner facilities.
• Logistics and supply-chain consulting.

We act as a freight forwarder and consultant. We do not act as carrier unless expressly stated in writing on a specific booking.

4. Trading conditions

All freight bookings are subject to the FIATA Standard Trading Conditions or the equivalent local trading conditions specified on the quotation or booking confirmation. These conditions govern, among other things, liability limits, claims procedures, and lien rights, and they form part of the contract between the client and Kaibailong.

5. Client obligations

The client warrants that:

• The information provided about the cargo (description, weight, value, HS code) is complete and accurate.
• The cargo is correctly classified, packed, marked, and labelled for international transport.
• The shipment does not include sanctioned, prohibited, or undeclared dangerous goods.
• The client and the underlying parties are not subject to applicable sanctions and have provided KYC information truthfully.

6. Sanctions and trade compliance

We will not handle shipments or counterparties subject to UN, Hong Kong, OFAC, EU, or UK sanctions, or shipments that, on a reasonable basis, may breach export-control or sanctions regulations. Bookings may be refused or suspended at any time if compliance concerns arise.

7. Pricing and payment

Quotations are valid for the period stated and are subject to space, equipment, and currency conditions at the time of booking. Payment terms are stated on the invoice. Late payment may attract interest and recovery costs as permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

Liability is limited as set out in the applicable trading conditions (e.g. FIATA STC) and any signed master service agreement. We do not provide cargo insurance directly; insurance placement is available on request through licensed insurance brokers, on terms agreed separately.

9. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of authorities, port congestion, carrier failure, weather, strikes, or pandemic-related disruptions.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website (text, graphics, logos) belongs to Kaibailong or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without written permission, except for normal browsing and personal reference.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts, unless the relevant trading conditions or contract provide for arbitration.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is the one published on this page.
